(adding 3-D effect to Wheat State Distillery mural)
I'm Tanya White, owner of Tanya's Sign Studio in Maize (Wichita), Kansas.
I've been self-employed as an artist since 1980, starting in my Mom's shop--
Francelle's Signs, on the corner of 10th & Main in Great Bend, KS. I closed the shop in 1990 and moved to Maize with my "radio" husband.
Since then, on my own, I have created thousands of signs and murals, thousands of hand-lettered and pinstriped show cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, helmets, a full carousel of horses, small toys--well, the list is endless.

My work can be spotted all around Wichita; in iconic places such as Old Town Square--and, more recently at Wheat State Distillery in Old Town and Soul Sisters Restaurant Downtown, plus all over the Midwest on the trucks and vehicles of Holland Paving, Great Plains Fluid, Farmer's Oil Co., Cross Alfalfa, MRE Installations, Stover's Restoration and more.

You may even see some of my signs around the Great Bend area that have survived over 30 years.
That is quality!!
I am also a recipient of an American Advertising Federation "ADDY" award for the mural I painted for The Greteman Group at the Old Town Farm and Art Market (now a museum).
My husband Sandy and I are also professional musicians; you can find out more about our band, Ten Day Wish at www.tendaywish.com.
My brother Mike and my Mom, Fran are also artists--they serve the Lawrence/Topeka/Kansas City area from their shop in Baldwin City, KS. You can see their work at http://designspecialties.biz.
